Prospective students

Geography is the integrated study of the Earth's landscapes, peoples, places and environments and offers insights into some of the most pressing problems currently facing humanity. The subject is unique in bridging the social sciences (human geography) with its understanding of the dynamics of cultures, societies and economies, and the Earth sciences (physical geography) with physical landscapes and environmental processes.

Sustainable development will enable students to take their place as local and global citizens and rise to the challenges of the environment and society.

Academics within the School bring their research interests, passions and expertise to the fore in their teaching to create a challenging and exciting learning environment for students.
