Entrepreneurial St Andrews sits as one of the key pillars of the University Strategy 2022-2027, and through it we are channelling academic excellence into sustainable, social and commercial innovation. We want to apply our world-leading research to identify problems and find solutions.
The University is investing in the Eden Campus as a hub for innovation and enterprise. Home to the Entrepreneurship Centre, it provides start-up support, practical training and opportunities for collaboration. The campus is already nurturing spin-outs, driving regional regeneration and enabling research with national and global impact.
The Entrepreneurship Centre
At the heart of this activity is the Entrepreneurship Centre, which opened in September 2021. In 2024-2025, the Centre hosted 56 events, delivered 215 mentorship sessions, and awarded £27,476 in seed funding. It supports students, academics, professional staff and alumni with training, resources and expert mentoring, helping turn ideas into viable ventures.

Students are at the heart of everything we do. Entrepreneurial education is embedded across all faculties, equipping students with the skills, mindset and confidence to innovate, lead and generate impact in their chosen field.
