About

The Kaleidoscope Alumni Network (KAN) celebrates the ethnic and cultural diversity of St Andrews graduates around the world. The network aims to provide a means of representation, to engender a greater sense of belonging, and to act intentionally to create a fairer, more inclusive St Andrews community of alumni, staff, current students, and their families.

We want to highlight the wide range of ethnic and cultural experiences and expertise among our community, celebrate achievements, and provide inspiration and encouragement for our alumni of the future.

Why 'Kaleidoscope'? 

Through a kaleidoscopic lens we can see and – using our agency – change form, patterns and relationships. Our graduates are successful thought leaders, change-makers and global citizens. Our diversity allows us to perceive situations from a multitude of perspectives.
