Postgraduate taught courses in Art History

The School offers a number of taught postgraduate programmes:

All of these programmes involve taught modules over the academic year and a final 15,000-word dissertation. Students can alternatively take these programmes as a postgraduate diploma, which involves only the taught components.

Students commencing MLitt studies can discuss the possibility of transferring to an MPhil. This will be dependent upon achieving certain requirements relating to MLitt performance, support from the Adviser of Studies and permission from the Head of School. This discussion should take place after results from Semester 1 are made available.

Instructions on how to apply can be found on the application pages.

The School also has a variety of funding options available to students. Some options specific to the School of Art History are listed on the funding page.
