Peppy is a health application that connects you to expert practitioners and personalised support on health matters. The University has partnered with Peppy to offer free support for staff and their partners on menopause and men's health.

We have signed up to these two services in the first instance with the opportunity to revise our subscription subject to uptake of and feedback on the service.

All information is confidential. Personal data or individual registration details will never be shared with the University. 

Support is easy to access through the app and the app is available anytime, anywhere. You need a smartphone and access to the internet in order to use the app and access the support available. 

What's included?

The app gives you access to:

  • One-to-one personalised chat with an expert practitioner.
  • Up to 40-minute private virtual video or phone consultations with an expert practitioner.
  • Access to virtual events on a range of topics.
  • Tailored courses, featuring video tutorials and practical advice.
  • Resources, including videos, audios and articles featuring evidence based information aligned with NHS guidelines.
  • Access to moderated group chats that allow you to share your experiences and learn from others.

Who can use the app?

  • Current staff and their partners who are based in the UK and over the age of 18 can access the Peppy service.
  • Staff members need to register using a University of St Andrews work email address. 
  • Partners who are not a member of University staff can register with the app using the access code on first use: PEPPYSTANDREWS
  • Once registered users can create an account with their own personal details and email address.
  • Once users have an account they can select either the menopause or men's health service.
  • The app is updated with new content weekly.
  • Peppy practitioners are experienced and accredited.
  • All information is confidential. Personal data or individual registration details will never be shared with the University.
