Research areas
My main research interest is in sex differences in human social behaviour, with a particular focus on risky behaviour and aggression. I use meta-analysis to examine how sex differences remain stable or change over time, experimental methods to explore how sex differences in behaviour vary depending on contextual factors. I am currently investigation the perception of psychological sex differences and how the size of these differences can be most effectively communicated in the media.
