QAA and SCQF requirements

Honours modules classified as 3000, 4000 or 5000 level correspond to SCQF levels of 9, 10, and 11 respectively.

Modules are allocated credits, where each credit point should correspond to approximately 10 hours of work for the average student at that level.

5000-level modules are regarded as being appropriate for both postgraduate MSc students and students in the final year of an Integrated Masters programme.
