Research areas
I am a biophysicist with experience as a research microscopist, using scanning probe methods, then fluorescence fluctuations and super-resolution techniques. This expertise builds on top of training in solid-state physics, molecular electronics and semiconducting thin films matured working in Italy, Switzerland, the US, Germany and now the UK. Our team researches fundamental molecular mechanisms modulating cellular signalling using biophotonics and nanotechnology approaches.
