Teaching

In the German department I provide teaching and supervision at all levels, with a focus on 20^th and 21^st Century literature, history and culture. My areas of specialism include:

• Theories of Memory
• The Nazi past in German culture
• Holocaust studies
• East German Cinema and Culture
• Contemporary film and literature

 I have also taught on and contributed to the development of the School’s Comparative Literature programme since its launch in 2011. Here I offer teaching on a wide range of texts, genres and theories, including both established and newly emerging approaches to the discipline.
