Postgraduate Accommodation Award - Apply Now

24 November 2025

Applications are now being accepted for the University of St Andrews Postgraduate Accommodation Awards.

Awards are open to applicants for postgraduate degrees starting in 2026-27 - including the School of Modern Languages Masters degrees and research degrees. Awards are open to UK and international entrants.

Awards help cover the cost of university or private accommodation. Minimum awards of £1,750 per annum are available for the duration of the course, and are allocated based on financial need. Awards will be applied to University accommodation fees in the first instance. Students who move to privately owned accommodation, including properties let through the University, will receive the award as monthly maintenance payments.

Further details of the accommodation provided by the University can be found on the accommodation website.

Please apply for the award after you have submitted your application for a place at St Andrews. You do not need to wait until you have received an offer of a place before applying for the award. See the scholarships catalogue for more information about the Postgraduate Accommodation Awards.
