2 October 2025

Applications are now being accepted for the Worsfold Otago Scholarships.

The scholarships are open to New Zealand graduates (you must be either a New Zealand national or domiciled in New Zealand) looking to start a postgraduate Masters degree in September 2026 - including the School of Modern Languages' Masters in Comparative Literature and Masters in Global Languages, Literatures, and Cultures.

Two scholarships are available, each worth £15,000 payable towards the applicable tuition fee in the first instance. Awards will be made on the basis of financial need and academic merit.

You can apply for the scholarship after you have submitted your application for a place at St Andrews. You do not need to wait until you have received an offer of a place before applying for the award. See the scholarships catalogue for more information about the Worsfold Otago Scholarships.
