R&A Ransome Scholarships - Apply Now

Applications are now being accepted for the R&A Ransome Scholarships.

Three scholarships are available and are open to applicants from Canada, Mexico, and thw USA looking to start a postgraduate Masters degree in September 2026 - including the School of Modern Languages' Masters in Comparative Literature and Masters in Global Languages, Literatures, and Cultures.

The scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and cover tuition fees, University accommodation fees, and allowances for books and travel.

You can apply for the scholarships after you have submitted your application for a place at St Andrews. You do not need to wait until you have received an offer of a place before applying for the award. See the scholarships catalogue for more information about the R&A Ransome Scholarships.
