Applications are now being accepted for the Valerie Graeme Smith Scholarship in the Arts.

The scholarship is open to international applicants looking to start a postgraduate Masters degree in the Faculty of Arts in September 2026 - including the School of Modern Languages' Masters in Comparative Literature and Masters in Global Languages, Literatures, and Cultures.

The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and is worth £3,600, payable toward the applicable tuition fee.

You can apply for the scholarship after you have submitted your application for a place at St Andrews. You do not need to wait until you have received an offer of a place before applying for the award.
