Undergraduate of the Year competition
Applications for a targetjobs Undergraduate of the Year Award 2023 are open and School of Management undergraduates who apply could be following in the footsteps of previous winners from the School.
Management Undergraduate of the Year 2022 winner was second year student Yasmin Coffey, who received a trophy and the opportunity of a summer internship including a week at one of Enterprise Rent-A-Car's international operations. Yasmin said, "I was nervous about entering the competition, but it was the best thing I could have done. You never know where you'll end up!"
In 2018, Holly Hetherington, MA (Hons) Management, won the Management Undergraduate of the Year Award, and a prize of a ten-week summer placement with Enterprise Rent-A-Car, including a week in the USA. See Holly's blog about the competition and internship.
Georgina Ashby, BSc (Hons) Management, reached the finals in 2016 and won a placement with Rolls Royce. She said that her studies with the School helped her achieve the prize by giving her the opportunity to develop the skills of making presentations, analysing organisations and using strategy in an organisational setting.
