Professional Services team member wins Fife Provost’s Prize

29 June 2021

The School of Management extends proud congratulations to Samantha Letham on being awarded the Fife Provost's Prize.

This prestigious prize recognises an outstanding student who has persevered and flourished in their degree course, often despite challenging circumstances. Sam is Postgraduate Research Administrator with the School, and continued to work full-time as a member of the Professional Services team in the School throughout her studies. She graduated from the University of St Andrews with an MA in Combined Studies in June 2021.

Sam was awarded the prize, for the most outstanding Evening Degree Student this year, in recognition of her excellent academic achievements and the commitment and dedication she has shown to completing her studies. Official announcement of the £100 prize was made at the University's annual Lifelong Learning graduation reception, which, in line with Covid restrictions, was held remotely.

Press coverage for the accolade included Fife Today's report, 'Cupar student...'.
