Subject and General Purpose Guides

Subject Guides bring together key resources for the disciplines taught at the University of St Andrews and are curated by the Academic Liaison Librarian Team.  They include links to our subscribed databases, as well as other quality open access resources.

General Purpose Guides provide information about library services and general topics of interest to library users e.g. newspaper research.

A-Z of Databases

The A-Z of Databases can be used to browse and access the databases and electronic resources provided by the Library. The A-Z can be browsed by database name, searched by keyword or filters can be used to refine results by subject or resource type.
