What we will do:

We will provide digital access to resources for staff and students based on campus, including materials held at JF Allen Library, St Mary’s Library, Walter Bower House Library, Martyrs, and the Psychology Store. You can request scanned copies delivered straight to your University email by clicking the ‘Request scan’ button on Library Search.  

You may request:

• one article from any single journal issue
• one book chapter or up to 10% of a work
• up to 10% of a newspaper
• up to 10% of printed music (typically one chapter).

This service free of charge. There is no limit on the number of requests you can make. For users who require digital reproductions of University Collections please go to our webpage.

How this will be delivered:

• We will notify you by email when your scan is ready. 
• We will provide a secure link for you to download your scanned document. 
• You will have access to download the file for 30 days. 
• We will retain scans on a rolling deletion schedule, keeping only those from the current and previous month. 
• We will support staff and students based outside Dundee and Fife, or those registered on online postgraduate programs, by providing scanned resources held at the Main Library.
