Postgraduate courses

For postgraduate students who are interested in teaching English language skills, the University offers a wide range of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) programmes.

Postgraduate applicants who are seeking sanctuary in the UK may be eligible to apply for the Sanctuary Scholarship.

Academic English Service (AES)

Students who use English as a second or additional language can sign up to AES, for free. The service offers language support to undergraduate and postgraduate students, through a combination of online resources, face-to-face tutorials and workshops. Schools which may need language development provision for groups of students should contact academicenglish@st-andrews.ac.uk to request a meeting.
