Prepare for a taught module rollover in Panopto

There is an annual rollover in Panopto. This guide follows on from the processes detailed in: Prepare for a taught module rollover in Moodle

Panopto folders

When a module Moodle course is created or rolled over, a corresponding Panopto folder is automatically created.

• No content is copied from previous years into newly created Panopto folders. If staff wish to reuse existing recordings, they will need to copy or move those recordings into the new module folder.
• All folders are set to automatically hide recordings from students. Staff will need to select the Publish option for each recording so students can view it.

To ensure automatic student access, all recordings should be stored in the module Panopto folder.
