Biography

Dr Evelyn Mary-Ann Antony is a Research Fellow in the School of Geography and Sustainable Development at the University of St Andrews.

She works in the ESRC Centre for Population Change-Connecting Generations (CPC-CG) programme with Professor Hill Kulu, Dr Katherine Keenan, & Dr Julia Mikolai, on projects including: Reproductive strategies, families and intergenerational exchange and Transitions to adulthood and the buffering effect of intergenerational support.

Previously, Evelyn worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the School of Psychology in Manchester Metropolitan University in the Child, Adolescent, & Parental Mental Health (CHAMP) Research Group.

She completed her PhD in Education at Durham University in 2025, where she was awarded the British Psychological Society's Outstanding Doctoral Research Contributions to Psychology Award, for the originality, significance, and rigour of her research.
