Dissertation-type end-of-module questions

These are the dissertation-type end-of-module feedback questions. The standard modules and Vertically Integrated Projects (VIPs) use a separate set of questions tailored to their specific formats.

The mandatory questions enable comparison of data collected across Schools, at both School and University levels.

    • The module expanded my understanding of the subject area.
    • The module allowed me to develop my own intellectual interests.
    • I learned lessons about my own capacity for independent work.
    • The different stages and aspects of project/dissertation work were clear throughout the module (e.g. planning, phasing, different research activities, prototyping, drafting, referencing, time management, etc).
    • The criteria to be used in marking were made clear in advance.
    • When I submitted work punctually, feedback was provided in time for me to make progress.
    • Feedback on my work was helpful.
