Penalties for late work or work of incorrect length

Coursework penalties are applied to assessed work that is submitted late or to assessed work of incorrect word length. 

The University policy on Coursework penalties requires all Schools to publish the penalties applied to coursework. The penalty scheme is chosen according to the nature of the module and the particular assignment. Details of the coursework penalties used are available in the Module and/or School handbook.
