Offer holder open day

The School of Earth and Environmental Sciences holds a special open day each April for its prospective students who have been give an offer. 

The aim of the day is to allow offer holders to experience what it is like to be a student at the University of St Andrews, find out more about Earth science degrees and meet current members of the School. The open day runs from approximately 10am to 4pm and includes:

  • taster laboratory sessions
  • a short local field trip
  • the opportunity to chat to current students about their experiences.  

Lunch, tea, coffee and cake is also provided. Offer holders are welcome to bring family members or other guests. Some activities will be limited to prospective students, during which guests can take advantage of tours being run centrally by the University.

If you have been given an offer for a place on one of the Earth and Environmental Science degree programmes, you will receive an official invite by email from the Admissions office between January and March.  If you do not receive your invite or hold an offer for another subject at St Andrews, or have any queries, contact earthsci@st-andrews.ac.uk

 

Non-offer holder

If you are currently thinking or in the process of applying for an undergraduate course at St Andrews, you can attend a subject talk and discussion session with staff and students on one of the University's scheduled visiting days.
