Morning Lecture
Dr Debbie JF Russell
Join us as we meet Dr Debbie Russell who is a quantitative marine ecologist with a particular interest in the interactions between marine predators and their natural versus anthropogenic environment.
She is Principal Research Fellow at, and deputy director of, the Sea Mammal Research Unit (SMRU), and is affiliated with the Centre for Research into Ecological and Environmental Monitoring (CREEM).
With an ecological background and extensive field experience, she uses a mixture of Bayesian and frequentist methods to investigate the interactions between marine predators and their environment. Her main role is in researching the (movement, spatial and population) ecology of UK seals

In the evening guests are invited to dine at the private Balcarres Estate where, as well as enjoying an excellent dining experience, you will be welcome to view some of the collection of stunning works of art displayed at the House and hear more about the Estate and its history.
