Research areas

I obtained my fully-funded PhD in Finance and Accounting at School of Management, University of Bath, UK. Before that, I graduated my Master in Finance and Management at University of Sussex Business School with the best student award. I also hold a B.Sc. in Banking and Finance at International University, Vietnam National University. 

My current research interests lie in the intersection of climate change and finance, including: Climate Finance; Sustainable Finance; Corporate Social Responsibility; Environment, Social, and Governance. 

I have been publishing in the European Journal of Finance.  My work has also been presented in a number of conferences, including Western Finance Association; Eastern Finance Association Conference, ESG and Climate Conference Finance; International Conference on Macroeconomic Analysis and International Finance, EAA Workshop; FMA Annual Meeting; and seminars at other universities, including University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign; Northeastern University; Temple University; Middle Tennessee State University; University of Southampton;  University of Bristol; University of Essex; Newcastle University, and so on.

I am also the external referee for Journal of International Money and Finance and Business Research Quarterly. My teaching experience covers financial accounting, financial management, research methods, and other finance-related areas. Additionally, I have 5-year industry experience at Ernst & Young and Mazars as a consultant for both lines of services: financial reporting and taxation.
