In Her Words: women artists and life writing before 1920.
Prof Linda Goddard has collaborated with The National Gallery, London, and Dr Rebecca Birrell on an international conference exploring diaries, letters and other writings by women artists before 1920, taking place on Friday 2 October in the Pigott Theatre, National Gallery, and online.
This is a collaboration between The National Gallery, the University of St Andrews and The Women's Art Collection, Murray Edwards College, Cambridge, and follows an earlier symposium at The Women's Art Collection in June.
Papers address artists including Gwen John, Paula Modersohn-Becker, Berthe Morisot, Edmonia Lewis, Rosa Bonheur, Luisa Roldán, and others.
Tickets are still available to attend in-person or online and can be booked here.
