Seeing & Believing: Sensory Experience in the Late Middle Ages (Zien & Geloven. Zintuiglijke ervaring in de late middeleeuwen), an exhibition co-curated by Kathryn Rudy and Nelleke de Vries at the Rijksmuseum Twenthe, has been nominated for the Best Exhibition in The Netherlands Prize by the Museumtijdschrift (the Museum Journal). The public now votes for the final winner.

The show drew over 21,000 visitors and received generous press coverage. NRC praised it as ‘zorgvuldig opgebouwd en zintuiglijk opgezet’ (‘carefully constructed and sensorially designed’). In the Volkskrant, Arjen Ribbens described the experience as ‘een pelgrimage die frisse geest en blik gaf’ (‘a pilgrimage that refreshed both mind and vision). Trouw called it a ‘mooie tentoonstelling… vol durf en zeggingskracht’ (‘a beautiful exhibition… full of courage and eloquence’).
