Scotland’s Transnational Heritage
Nicôle Meehan has recently contributed a chapter to the recently published volume, Scotland's Transnational Heritage: Legacies of Empire and Slavery. The chapter, 'Digital Museum Objects and Transnational Histories' explore the possibilities digital collections in cultural institutions offer in the reimagining of interpretive models. Positioning digital objects as networked objects with generative agency, polyvocality is offered as a way of articulating more holistic narratives, particularly transnationally, around museum collections.
