What is your favourite thing about studying Art History at St Andrews?

I love the flexibility and wide range of the school. You can take so many different and interesting modules in one degree.

What Art History paper have you written that you are most proud of? Why?

I wrote a paper on the Hilton of Cadboll cross slab for my medieval studies class. This stone was found near where I live and it was incredibly interesting to see how its use and iconography changed over time.

What is the most interesting/surprising thing you have learned so far in your Art History studies?

Throughout the art history course it has been interesting to learn about the influences that have persisted over the years and to be able to distinguish continuing elements over long periods of time.
