Why did you choose to study Art History at St Andrews?

Before applying, I had the chance to work in New York with several graduates of St. Andrews' art history program, and was thoroughly impressed by their professionalism and regard for their university. I also believe that art history is a distinctly international subject.

What is the most interesting/surprising thing you have learned so far in your Art History studies?

That Pseudo-Arabic script (faux Arabic) was present in many medieval and Renaissance examples of Christian art. Art history is home to a truly infinite amount of intriguing informational nuggets.

Do you plan to use Art History after graduation?

Absolutely. I hope to devote my life to art history, if given the opportunity. An eventual PhD and curatorial position within a museum of art are career goals of mine.
