What is your favourite thing about studying Art History at St Andrews?

Everything -- the lecturers, the tutorials, the field trips, the building itself, and the aesthetically pleasing module handbooks.

What Art History paper have you written that you are most proud of? Why?

For my seminar paper during my first year, ‘How does the iconography and style of still-life painting reflect the tastes and ideas of its audience?’, I was able to academically analyse the hidden symbolism of different sorts of Dutch cheese. It was a ‘gouda’ time.

Do you plan to use Art History after graduation?

I intend to live my life as if it were one long piece of performing art.
