Our research is underpinned by a strong desire to understand the origin and evolution of planetary atmospheres. This means we need to understand the nature of the volatile elements (primarily C-N-Noble gases) in the interior of planets to ascertain how they behave during accretion, differentiation, and plate-tectonic cycling.
