My focus is on biomolecular EPR applications to investigate structural and functional aspects
of proteins and other biomolecules, with a particular interest in low-concentration (nanomolar) measurements.
We employ stable radicals introduced by site-directed spin-labelling as well as intrinsic metal ion centres.
Predominantly, we apply pulse EPR techniques to measure nanometre distances between spin centres,
but also use hyperfine techniques and CW EPR.
