The goal of the bursary is to make the Saints Shinty Club more financially accessible to current and prospective members.
As more students face financial concerns due to the cost of living crisis, the added expense of a full club membership may discourage students from joining the club, depriving them of the physical and social benefits of participating in team sports such as shinty. The bursary will solve this problem by alleviating their financial concerns and allowing them to continue their engagement in the club and sport.
