The Digital Health and Care Innovation Centre (DHI), part of the Scottish Funding Council's Innovation Centre Programme, have 15.5 full-time equivalent Masters scholarships in digital health and care.

Grants, valued at £8,030 per place, are available for postgraduate students starting their course in the 2025-2026 academic year. The Graduate School for Interdisciplinary Studies will cover the remainder of the Home fee for successful applicants.

Application deadlines

  • 18th August for both September 2025 and January 2026 start (5 FTE scholarships)
  • 17th November for January 2026 start (2.5FTE scholarships)

How to apply

If you meet the following criteria, you can apply:

  1. You are a British citizen, an EU citizen with Settled Status, or hold indefinite leave to remain status.
  2. You have been resident in the UK for at least the last three years (proof may be required).
  3. You will be ordinarily resident in Scotland when starting the course.
  4. You are starting a new course.
  5. You plan on pursuing a Taught MSc or an MRes degree in digital health and care.
