The University of St Andrews is offering £1,000 fee reduction scholarships for entrants with a fee status of Home or RUK studying an on-campus MSc in Digital Education starting in September 2025. The scholarships will be awarded to experienced practitioners with six months relevant work experience.
To be eligible to apply, you must hold an offer to study on an on-campus MSc Digital Education programme (September start) at the University of St Andrews by the time of the scholarship submission deadline date.
The International Education Institute reserves the right not to make an award if no appropriate submissions are made. A decision on the award will be made by committee.
No cash alternative is offered, and the award is not transferrable to any other programme of study. If a student does not enrol on the MSc in Digital Education then the award will be withdrawn.

Please apply for the award after you have submitted your application for a place at St Andrews. You do not need to wait until you have received an offer of a place before applying for the award. However, you must hold an offer to study on an on-campus MSc Digital Education programme (September start) at the University of St Andrews by the time of the scholarship submission deadline date.

Decisions about your suitability for the scholarship will be based on the work experience you list in your CV, which you should upload as part of the course application.
The Recent Graduate Discount does not apply to students who have previously studied on an International Education Institute (IE) postgraduate preparation programme. You cannot receive both awards.

How to apply
After you have applied to a new course beginning in September 2025, you will be provided with login details for the My application portal. You must allow at least two working days for processing and issue of your log in details before you can apply for this scholarship.
This scholarship is available through the MSc Digital Education Scholarship (Home Student/On Campus - September entry) application form. You can access this application through the Scholarships and funding catalogue in the Scholarships and Funding section of My application. When accessing the catalogue you should select 2025/6 as the academic year.

- The offer of a scholarship is provisional upon the offer holder accepting and enrolling on the MSc Digital Education (Home Student/On Campus) only. Applications to the PGDip, PGCert will not be considered for funding.
- The selection panel will consist of a group of key staff from the International Education and Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of St Andrews. All decisions of the panel are final.
