Student financial information

We recommend using the funding financial tool to help calculate your household income before you apply for any needs-based scholarships. You can find the funding financial profile under ‘Create my funding financial profile’ in the Scholarships and Funding section of My application.

"Household income" refers to your total annual income for the most recent full financial year. This figure must be annual (not monthly), in Pounds Sterling (GBP) and gross (without tax deducted). If you are living with your parents/guardians, the figure provided must be their combined income rather than your own. Income details must reflect your current/recent situation and not your expected future income after starting your intended programme.

Information for non-UK applicants

When entering your income details in the scholarship application form, please convert your local currency to Pounds Sterling (GBP) and indicate the exchange rate you have used in the relevant question in the scholarship application form.

We recommend using the currency converter website Oanda to help convert your income.

It is extremely important that you provide complete and accurate information when applying for funding. Your course and funding application are not linked, and applying for funding in no way impedes your course application.
