First Chances Fife

The University of St Andrews and Fife College are proud to continue our fantastic widening access programme, with a new First Chances Fife calendar of workshops and events designed to offer educational experiences to eligible young people in Fife.

First Chances Fife supports the development of young people who have experienced disadvantages or barriers to their learning by helping to overcome those barriers, creating a sense of belonging and confidence in an educational setting, allowing them to recognise and achieve their full potential.

Pupils are encouraged to engage in activities that best suit their aspirations. Activities can be from either of the institutions or a mix of activities from both.
