New book on "Plague Image and Imagination from Medieval to Modern Times"

Representing a selection of papers presented at the final conference of the ERC-funded project Visual Representations of the Third Plague Pandemic, the new edited volume by Professor Christos Lynteris "Plague Image and Imagination from Medieval to Modern Times" (Palgrave Macmillan 2021) brings together historians and anthropologists in an examination of the visual record of the plague and explores the relationship between epidemic image and the human imagination.
