Three new Professorial Fellows in Philosophy appointed

The Department is delighted to announce the appointment of three new Professorial Fellows in Philosophy:

Jennifer Saul
(Waterloo Chair in Social and Political Philosophy of Language, University of Waterloo)

Amie Thomasson
(Daniel P. Stone Professor of Intellectual and Moral Philosophy, Dartmouth College)

Stephen Gardiner
(Professor of Philosophy and Ben Rabinowitz Endowed Professor of Human Dimensions of the Environment, University of Washington)

The St Andrews Professorial Fellows are distinguished senior scholars with four year, part-time appointments to carry out research within the Arché and CEPPA Research Centres, participate in departmental seminars, conferences and workshops, and supervise doctoral students.
