Course information
Working in higher education has become increasingly complex. Staff are expected to manage competing priorities, digital overload, frequent interruptions and increasing demands. Traditional time management approaches often focus on doing more, whereas modern productivity research emphasises managing attention, energy and priorities.
This highly interactive half-day workshop equips staff with practical, evidence-informed techniques to work more intentionally and increase effectiveness without simply working longer hours. Participants will leave with a personalised action plan that can be implemented immediately.
Aims and objectives
By the end of the workshop participants will be able to:
- Identify personal patterns of procrastination, interruptions and time loss
- Apply evidence-based prioritisation techniques
- Use practical methods to improve focus
- Manage email and meetings with intention
- Identify habits that support wellbeing and productivity
- Create an action plan for improvement
