Course information

This session will look at administrative accounts, their scope and functionality, and how they interact with other accounts to support the work of researchers. We will look at administrative account setup, some use cases for administrative accounts to understand the kind of role they can play, and review the technical support available through LabArchives.

This workshop is part of a series of four training sessions on Lab Archives. Despite not being essential, it will be useful for you to have an active Lab Archives account to follow along. For information on how to log in with your University’s credentials, check the electronic research notebook webpage.

By the end of this workshop, you should understand:

  • the scope and functionality of the Administrator role
  • how to get started with an administrative account
  • support available for administrative accounts
  • some use cases for administrative accounts.
