Saints Abroad Scholarships - Apply Now
Applications are now being accepted for the Saints Abroad Scholarships.
Sholarships are open to current students studying or working abroad as part of their degree in 2026.
Scholarships are worth £500 to £12,000 towards living costs for semester and year-long programmes. Current University of St Andrews students who will be studying or working abroad in the academic year 2026-2027 can apply. Students due to graduate in June 2026 are not eligible.

The School of Modern Languages offers opportunities to broaden your academic experience by spending a semester or year abroad as part of your degree.
Combining your studies with time abroad allows you to develop your linguistic skills, intercultural competence, and self-confidence:
- You have the opportunity to experience another culture and new perspectives, make new friends, and see new places.
- You broaden your academic or professional experience and employers value the outlook and aptitudes that working and studying abroad demonstrates.
- You demonstrate a range of self-management and problem solving skills including time management, adaptability, independence, and resilience.
