Christian Kracht visiting School of Modern Languages
The German Department is delighted to welcome the author Christian Kracht to the School of Modern Languages this semester. Christian Kracht has published widely to international acclaim. His most recent novel, Eurotrash, was shortlisted for the 2021 German Book Prize. During his visit, Christian will be working with undergraduate and postgraduate students and will also take part in a Byre World event (16th November) – a screening of the film Finsterworld (2013), for which Christian co-wrote the screenplay with director Frauke Finsterwalder, followed by a Q&A.
