Ai Weiwei visited the School in 2022 as part of a series of events to mark the launch of the Department of Chinese Studies.

Two pictures - Market Street, St Andrews and XXX, Tunisia - by David Bond (2022).

David was a former lecturer with the School of Modern Languages in the Department of Arabic and Persian. The two pictures were created to mark the retirement of another former member of the Department of Arabic and Persian, Catherine Cobham. The pictures were then gifted to the Department.

The pictures are located in the Buchanan Building on level 3.
