Bridging the Gap: Parliamentary research services report published

Dr Vicky Ward and Loughborough University colleague Professor Mark Monaghan have published a report on their study of parliamentary research services.

The report, Bridging the gap between research and parliament: An examination of parliamentary mechanisms for engaging with academic research, maps parliamentary research services across the globe.

It also provides an overview of their functions, common challenges they face in accomplishing their work and how some services have sought to overcome these. Vicky produced the report as part of her appointment as a Parliamentary Academic Fellow by the UK Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology (POST) and has now disseminated it to parliamentary research services worldwide.
