Doctoral research showcase

10 March 2023

In February 2023, doctoral students in the School of Management gathered at a doctoral research showcase to share their research with peers, colleagues and academic staff.

The three posters included in the showcase reflected the diversity of ongoing doctoral research in the School.

Anne Stoerk presented her ongoing work examining corporate social responsibility in order to develop and validate a new CSR reporting measurement tool. Anne's poster: Measuring corporate social responsibility (PDF)

Ban Lee shared his soon to be completed doctoral research that has examined accumulation in the art market. Ban's poster: The Midas Touch on the Art Market (PDF)

Bhakti Patil shared her proposed research that aims to understand contemporary imaginaries of philanthropy drawing on understandings of philanthrocapitalism and Gandhian philosophy. Bhakti's poster: Beyond Philanthrocapitalism: The Gandhian Alternative (PDF)

The showcase was a great opportunity to reconnect and discuss research after a long period of lockdown.
