Possible futures symposia planned

15 November 2022

Papers and short presentations are being invited for the first of two symposia titled Conversations on the future for arts, education and enterprise in Scottish rural communities.

The events are being organised by Dr Laurence Lasselle from the School of Management and Glasgow Caledonian University's Professor Simon McKerrell. The first will be held on Thursday 23 March 2023 at Glasgow Caledonian and the second in St Andrews in autumn 2023.

The organisers are interested in hearing from academics and practitioners with an interest in the many possible futures for arts, education and enterprise in rural Scotland. They hope to build a conversation across 2023 that incorporates multidisciplinary academics and research students, community activists, educators and entrepreneurs.

For the March symposium, abstracts should be submitted to Dr Lasselle by Thursday 12 January 2023. Please contact her for further details.
