Keynote reflections on knowledge mobilisation
Dr Vicky Ward was keynote speaker at the Fuse International Conference on Knowledge Exchange in Public Health held in June 2022 in Newcastle upon Tyne. The theme of the conference was 'Learning from setbacks and successes'. The event aimed to allow attendees to reflect and to develop lessons for improving both practice and research.
Launching the conference with the opening presentation, Vicky spoke about 'Fundamental mistakes in knowledge mobilisation: reflections on the past 15 years'.

Fuse is the Centre for Translational Research in Public Health, which operates as a virtual collaboration across five universities in north-east England. The conference delegates included public health professionals and researchers, academics, local practitioners and members of international partner organisations.
