Discussing school as a socio-educational hub
Place-consciousness is needed to improve not only educational outcomes for rural youth, but also the sustainability of the communities themselves. This is the case that will be presented by panelists from Australia, USA, Norway, Portugal and the UK in an event from the European Educational Research Association (EERA).
The presentations and discussion will be hosted by co-organisers Dr Laurence Lasselle from the School of Management and Dr Melyssa Fuqua from the University of Melbourne, who have arranged the session as part of the EERA's network on communities, families, and schooling in educational research.
The event will be held on Thursday 10 March 2022 from 7pm to 8.30pm GMT.
